Damn Tiger Woods! (Domestic Violence)?!

So as all of you know by now Tiger Woods' wife is looking like she "possibly" put the beatdown on his azz after she found out about his lil jump off. She supposedly scratched up his face and chased him down with a golf club( bet they will no longer be laying around so loosely from now on hehehehehe) and banged up his Escalade. Tiger got distracted and hit a tre and fire hydron near his home.. Sounds like "When a white woman is fed up" The funny part about all of this is that he and his wife have been able to avoid the police for the past two days.. SMH This makes me angry because if this were the other way around Tiger (no matter how black he doesn't want to be) would be in jail like ummm 3 days ago, and the media would be bashing him by now! But o well I guess Tiger doesn't want that bad publicity for his wife.

Tiger Woods Statement:
As you all know, I had a single-car accident earlier this week, and sustained some injuries. I have some cuts, bruising and right now I’m pretty sore. This situation is my fault, and it’s obviously embarrassing to my family and me. I’m human and I’m not perfect. I will certainly make sure this doesn’t happen again.

This is a private matter and I want to keep it that way. Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible.

The only person responsible for the accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false.

This incident has been stressful and very difficult for Elin, our family and me. I appreciate all the concern and well wishes that we have received. But, I would also ask for some understanding that my family and I deserve some privacy no matter how intrusive some people can be.

Lastnight ABC aired a special on Beyonce,the footage was tapped during her show in Vegas.. I am such a Beyonce fan so of course I thought the show was great! The behind the scene footage made it just that much better for me :) I don't care what you haters say! Hands down Beyonce is THE GREATEST PERFORMER of my time! Bish is baddd

I Been Saying This for months now..Keyshia Cole Prego

So I was just on twitter last week asking where my girl Keyshia Cole was.. She has been missing from several high-profile events and I was like she pregnant! When I saw the pics from her Walmart event a couple months back I knew she was preggo. Now today the net is going crazy after she and her boo Boobie gave turkey's away at Bethany Baptist Church in Cleveland. Peep are def saying she is pregnant, maybe about six or seven months along..

Day 26 splits from Bad Boy

Word has it that Day26 has left Bad Boy..Last month or so Diddy announced that he was signing with Interscope, and that his artist would remain on Bad Boy. This may be good for them sad to say. They are now on Atlantic Records but are still good with Bad Boy. They Say:

Precious Movie Review

The movie is based on a novel Push by Sapphire and executive-produced by Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry, who came on board after its screening at Sundance. My heart jumped, I got teary eyed, and wanted to jump through the screen all at once while watching this move. Monique, who is usually funny, was brutal and down right mean in this film. I was very surprised at Mariah Carey acting. She has come a long way from Glitter. Gabby(Precious) was wonderful. The movie just made me think about all the children who go through the abuse Precious went through. The rape, illiteracy, verbal and physical abuse. My heart goes out to those children. We have got to do better people. A lot of people say the movie was had a lot of stereo-types but I think it was good to have African-American characters. Go support this movie people! Taraji P. Henson was in uproar on twitter about how Precious was released. There was no way it could have broken any records with how it was released.

Their agony has roots. What's terrifying about the abuse here is how casually it's accepted as a fact of life, by both perpetrator and victim.

Precious is genuinely and irresistibly inspirational. If the filmmaking weren't so skillful and the acting weren't so consistently brilliant, you might mistake this production for a raw slice of life from a Third World country where movies can still be instruments of moral instruction and social change. If Ms. Sidibe weren't playing the title role, it's hard to imagine what Precious would be. She doesn't play it, she invades and conquers it with concentrated energy and blithe humor.

Sidibe is heartbreaking as Precious, that poor girl. Three other actresses [Mo'Nique, Paula Patton, and Mariah Carey] perform so powerfully in the film that academy voters will be hard-pressed to choose among them... This casting looks almost cynical on paper, as if reflecting old Hollywood days when stars were slipped into "character roles" with a wink. But Lee Daniels, the director, didn't cast them for their names, and actually doesn't use any of their star qualities. He requires them to act. Somehow he was able to see beneath the surface and trust that they had within the emotional resources to play these women, and he was right... The film is a tribute to Sidibe's ability to engage our empathy. Her work is still another demonstration of the mystery of some actors, who evoke feelings in ways beyond words and techniques. She so completely creates the Precious character that you rather wonder if she's very much like her.

So Rihanna hit up Good Morning America today to perform! Her album is in stores and I love it!! She def went in the studio and went hard! Some of my favs are The Wait Is Ova, Stupid In Love, Russian Roulette, and Rock Star 101. The cd is great you can hear the change and growth in her voice and her lyrics! I predict she will sell at least 300,000!

So the American Music Awards aired lastnight and I missed half the show womp womp at the movies seeing Precious(which was well worth it)

This is so sad.. A father shoots his 15 year old son for molesting his 3 year old daughter. What is going on in the world today? What was the 15 year old doing touching that baby.. I have mixed feeling with this. I feel the father's hurt but I'm also angry that the boy was molesting this innocent child. What do you guys think?

Oprah Ending Her Show?!

Word has it that Oprah Winfrey is developing her own cable channel, the Oprah Winfrey Network, with Discovery Communications and the CEO says that Oprah stated that she will not renew her contract for her show when it expires in September 2011.
From my understanding, she will leave ABC and take her show to her network OWN. HMMMMM It's all in the air so geez are you all ready for Oprah to leave ABC? 4:00 just won't be the same without her :( We shall see

Jayson Williams Gets 3 Years

After accidentally shooting a driver at a New Jersey estate, former NJ Nets baller Jayson Williams will serve up to 3 years in prison after taking a plea deal:

The plea deal would resolve all charges in the case that dragged out for nearly eight years.

During his 2002 trial, the jury deadlocked on the reckless manslaughter count, acquitted him of aggravated manslaughter and convicted him of covering up the shooting. He was never sentenced for the cover-up counts, pending the outcome of the retrial, and has remained free on bail.

Witnesses testified that while showing off a shotgun in his bedroom, Williams snapped the weapon shut and it fired one shot that struck driver Costas Christofi in the chest, killing him.

They also testified that Williams initially placed the gun in the dead man’s hands and instructed those present in the bedroom to lie about what happened.

The defense has maintained the shooting was an accident and that Williams panicked afterward.
