Black History Moment-Madame C.J Walker

In honor of Black History Month I will be doing post on African Americans that have made their mark in history..
Madame C.J Walker (December 23, 1867 – May 25, 1919) was an African-American businesswoman, hair care entrepreneur and philanthropist. She made her fortune by developing and marketing a hugely successful line of beauty and hair products for black women, under the company she founded, Madam C.J. Walker Manufacturing Company. Her most popular product being the hair relaxer. I would personally like to thank her for that invention! It's because of her invention this hair can lay down sooo well... lol Next time you sit in your stylist chair and get a relaxer close your eyes and thank Madame C.J Walker!! We salute you

*SideBar*The Guinness Book of Records cites Walker as the first female who became a millionaire by her own achievements, and a hundred years later Oprah becomes the first African American billionaire!
